Ankeny, Iowa: We’re Open!
If you haven’t seen or been to our new location in Ankeny, then you are missing out! Exciting things happened recently at Wolfe Eye Clinic as our new Ankeny location opened in August of 2022. Due to our loyal optometry and medical partners and the continual growth of our patient clientele, we were able to add a new office in the area. You can find us inside the Ankeny MercyOne building on the second level just off the elevator located at 800 East 1st Street, Suite 2500.
Since the early 1980’s, Wolfe Eye Clinic has been serving the Des Moines communities that are known to be the most populous cities in Iowa. This brought more demand for the clinics top-quality services and soon an expansion to other surrounding cities. Over the years, several Wolfe Eye Clinic surgeons have rotated through the Ames, Marshalltown, Pleasant Hill and West Des Moines clinics but saw the need to provide care closer to home for patients in the Ankeny area. With our new location which is located just off of East 1st Street in the Ankeny MercyOne building, we can continue providing specialty eye care and bring more services to this location in the future.
With the additional office and clinical space, our new facility allows us to continue to meet patient needs with various ophthalmic specialties and eye disease care. Patients will be able to receive evaluations and treatment for cataract, corneal disease, glaucoma, LASIK, oculofacial plastics, pediatric ophthalmology, retina services, and strabismus. We utilize the latest technologies and eye care treatments, and our eye doctors strive to provide the highest standard of eye care excellence for the people of Ankeny, Iowa and surrounding communities.
Our Ankeny eye specialists are board-certified ophthalmologists who have completed additional advanced fellowship training in a specific area of eye care expertise. This specialty training allows them to work best on various conditions of the eyes and to partner with the many Ankeny optometrists in the care of their patients. Wolfe Eye Clinic has earned the trust from outside optometrists through many years of experience and can refer you to one of our ophthalmologists if they feel necessary. Wolfe Eye Clinic strives to provide quality patient care by our eye doctors and staff at each visit.
