Iowa Hospitals - Thank you for Your Partnership

In celebration of National Hospital Week, Wolfe Eye Clinic would like to thank our partner hospitals around the state of Iowa for allowing us to bring our surgical care closer to our patients.

It is National Hospital Week! A week of celebrating hope and healing, and the hospitals that make it all possible. In honor of national hospital week, Wolfe Eye Clinic's physicians and staff want to take a moment to thank the hospitals we work so closely with across the state of Iowa. Your partnership allows us to bring our surgical eye care to Iowans who may not otherwise have access.

Many eye conditions and diseases require surgical treatment and anesthesia such as cataracts, retina disease, and glaucoma. Because of Wolfe Eye Clinic's partnership with hospitals, their amazing staff and anesthesiologists, we are able to provide these crucial surgical services to patients to not only from urban areas but those in rural areas as well. More accessible surgical care reduces travel and other logistical hurdles which is especially beneficial to older adults.

In 1988, Wolfe Eye Clinic first established an outreach partnership outside of our main clinic locations with Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson, Iowa. From there we expanded our reach to Newton with Skiff Medical Center in 1989 and continued across Iowa with twenty-four additional locations over the last 30 years. Combined, we are able to reach over forty communities, more than any other ophthalmology clinic in the state. Over the past 100 years, Wolfe Eye Clinic has had the pleasure of serving nearly 700,000 patients. It is our partnership with hospitals that have helped make that happen.

We are Iowa's eye surgeons. Wolfe Eye Clinic offers a broad range of specialty eye care services to Iowans of all ages with 11 main locations and 9 vision centers. Our services include the diagnosing and treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, pediatric eye conditions and much more. Wherever you live in Iowa, we will be here for you when you need us. To learn more, for questions, or to schedule an appointment, call (833) 474-5850.
