New LASIK Laser is Now Available at Wolfe Eye Clinic

Wolfe Eye Clinic was the first in the state to implement bladeless LASIK in 2002 with IntraLase created femtosecond corneal flaps. We remain committed to obtaining the most advanced technologies for our patients and recently acquired the WaveLight FS200 Femtosecond Laser. It is the fastest laser available in the US with a standard flap creation time of 6 second, offering patients a higher quality LASIK flap.

Today we are excited to announce our next excimer laser advancement---the WaveLight EX500 Excimer Laser. Built for speed and superb outcomes, the EX500 Excimer Laser is the only excimer laser to operate at 500 Hz with an average treatment time of approximately 1.4 seconds per diopter. The built-in flexibility of the EX500 Excimer Laser also provides us the choice of Wavefront Optimized or Wavefront Guided treatments, offering the potential of customized LASIK for every eye.
