DR. CHAD A. GIDEL – AMES AND WEBSTER CITY OPTOMETRIST

Chad A. Gidel, O.D. received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He completed externships at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, Illinois, Olympia Fields Osteopathic Medical Hospital in Olympia Fields, Illinois, and Omega Eye Surgeons in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Gidel is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Iowa Optometric Association and the Contact Lens Society of America. He joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in 1999 and has special interests in contact lens fitting, low vision and the management of glaucoma and other ocular diseases. Dr. Gidel enjoys helping his patients see better to live more productive lives.

Outside of work, Dr. Gidel enjoys weight training, basketball, football and spending time with his family.
