DR. JUSTIN M. SCHULTE – DES MOINES OPTOMETRIST

Justin M. Schulte, OD received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology and chemistry from Central College in Pella, Iowa. Dr. Schulte has been seeing patients with Wolfe Eye Clinic since 2003 and is a member of the American Optometric Association, Iowa Optometric Association and Contact Lens Society.

Dr. Schulte has extensive experience in optometry clinical care and academia with special interests in primary eye care, specialty contact lens fittings, ocular emergencies and management of ocular disease. He completed several clinical rotations including those in Chicago, Illinois at Illinois Eye Institute and Signey Hillman Health Center as well as a rotation at Diecke Center for Visual Rehabilitation in Wheaton, Illinois.  Dr. Schulte also served as an adjunct clinical professor for Southern College of Optometry, Illinois College of Optometry and University of Missouri St. Louis College of Optometry, training fourth year optometry externs.

Thankful for his wonderful patients and skilled colleagues, Dr. Schulte enjoys getting to know and caring for his patients. Outside of work, Dr. Schulte spends time with his family and likes to golf and travel.
