DR. CORY L. BOWER – CEDAR RAPIDS AND MARSHALLTOWN OPTOMETRIST

Cory L. Bower, O.D. received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated cum laude. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa, where he also graduated cum laude. 

Dr. Bower is an active member of the Iowa Optometric Association, Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society and the American Optometric Association. During his externship with the Omni Eye Specialists in Baltimore, Maryland, he gained extensive eye care-related experience in medical management of glaucoma, anterior segment and vitreoretinal pathology.

Dr. Bower has been seeing patients at Wolfe Eye Clinic since 1999. He enjoys meeting a variety of individuals and helping each unique patient meet their vision goals. Outside of work, Dr. Bower enjoys spending time with his kids and family, mountain biking, golf, basketball and fishing.
