DR. DENISE C. GIMBEL – MARSHALLTOWN OPTOMETRIST 

Denise C. Gimbel, O.D. is an optometrist seeing patients in the Marshalltown area. Dr. Gimbel earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in biology from Central College in Pella, Iowa, where she graduated summa cum laude. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Gimbel completed her residency at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she gained experience in management of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and cataracts. She joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in 2000 and continues to enjoy getting to know her patients over the years.

Dr. Gimbel finds it rewarding to help her patients with their ocular health and vision issues to improve their quality of life. In her free time, Dr. Gimbel enjoys reading, scrapbooking, church-related activities, and spending time with her family.
