DR. KEATON C. CORNISH – DES MOINES COMPREHENSIVE OPTOMETRIST

Keaton C. Cornish, O.D. received his Doctorate of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in biology (biomedical emphasis) from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Dr. Cornish has been seeing patients with Wolfe Eye Clinic since 2014.

Dr. Cornish is an active member of the Iowa Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He completed an Ocular Disease Residency at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, where he gained extensive eye care-related experience in the diagnosis and management of cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration.

Dr. Cornish believes eye care is in his “blood” and was an easy choice for his career as his grandfather was an eye doctor. He enjoys getting to know his patients and helping them better understand their eye health and diagnoses. Outside of work, Dr. Cornish enjoys spending time outdoors running, swimming, and biking. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Jamie, their two children, and their family dog.
