DR. PETER RHEE – WATERLOO CATARACT SPECIALIST
Peter Rhee, M.D. received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his Doctorate of Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Following an internship at The Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, New York, Dr. Rhee completed his ophthalmology residency at The Eye Institute, Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dr. Rhee is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the American Medical Association. He is published in numerous eye care scientific journals, has authored textbook chapters on such topics as ocular pharmacology and enjoys presenting on topics related to ocular infectious diseases and medical retina.
Dr. Rhee is a board-certified ophthalmologist and joined Wolfe Eye Clinic in 2008. He enjoys ophthalmology’s ever-evolving technological innovations and finds the specialty to be profoundly meaningful. In his words, “There are few conditions which have a greater, more immediate impact on a person’s overall well-being than compromised vision.” Dr. Rhee enjoys helping restore vision and improving his patients’ quality of life through the gift of sight. Outside of Wolfe Eye Clinic, you might find Dr. Rhee fishing, walking his west highland terrier and trying new restaurants.
